Imagine telling all your friends and colleagues that you designed your own handbag!   This fabulous bespoke service costs much less than the luxury branded handbags that are hardly exclusive and you are safe in the knowledge that you have the only one in the world!   You personally choose the colours, textures, fabrics and may add your own buttons or beads.

The process of bespoke is a very pleasurable one and consultation with the clients is a very important part of the process, if it's not practical to meet face to face then by telephone.   You choose your favourite handbag design, deciding the style and size.   Next comes the discussion of colours of the merino or norwegian tops (myriad of colours!) and the type of fabrics that you would like the handles and the lining made from.   (Vintage silk, satins, printed chiffons, lace, silk velvet etc.)   If you have a specific theme in mind a sample of fabric may be sent to match or maybe contrast so that you can have your own perfect choice.

If you have any items of sentimental value that you may wish to have sewn onto the handbag then this is perfectly acceptable.   Buttons, beads or pearls from vintage necklaces, lace, crochet, ribbons can all be handstitched onto your handbag.   Or if you have a favourite song, poem, lyric that you want handstitching into the bag this can also be done.   I also ask you a little about yourself so that the Rubyruby handbag is given a well fitting   moniker as befits any bag of luxury.  

The process then takes about 2-3 weeks for the finished Rubyruby bag to be sent to you in a beautifully printed box complete with a letter of authenticity detailing the name, fabrics and processes involved in the creation of your bespoke handbag.

Gift certificates are also available if you wish to buy a bespoke handbag for someone special.   They are available in   Ruby, Gold or Platinum, depending on the size   of the handbag and the number of embellishments required.   What greater gift could you   give than for someone to design their own handbag?
